5 hour private wine tasting tour of the wineries in North County San Diego. This is a very unique tour as most people head to Temecula. North County wineries are very good and produce some lovely wines. The tour itself will be approximately 3 hours the other 2 hours will be the drive time from downtown to Escondido and back to downtown and also the drive time between wineries. You will see some very picturesque scenery of the Mountains in North County and all the beautiful wineries along the way. It’s a very enjoyable tour.

Enjoy looking around the stores and sampling the wines of one of the oldest wineries in San Diego County. It’s very rustic and a really lovely setting.
Orfila Vineyards & Winery is a 70-acre, award-winning boutique winery in Escondido, California, specializing in Rhône-style wines. Founded in 1994, it offers tastings, tours, and a scenic venue for events in the San Pasqual Valley. Under new ownership, the winery focuses on a welcoming atmosphere, featuring a tasting room, and picnic areas.
We grow 15 varietals in our estate vineyard, which also offers amazing views of San Pasqual Valley. Thanks to the availability of this many varietal options, our Winemaker, Mike Embly, is able to create complex blends and varietal wines that express our unique terrior and will surely enhance your palate experience.
