This experience is for kids age 6-14. Meets at 18 Broad St. Salem. All of the guides are certified teachers who hold Master's degrees in education. This all-outdoor tour combines true tales from Salem’s past with some mild spooky stories just for kids age 6+. The aim is not to scare the heck out of your kids, but to provide a little shiver and bit of mystery. This tour follows a route that is near the downtown, but it’s a little off the beaten path, very picturesque, and you’ll feel as if you stepped back in time. The tour ends at the Witch House. For over twelve years, parents traveling with kids have chosen Salem Kids Tours for a fun, well-researched and fascinating trip through time. Many times we have heard from kids, “I didn’t want the tour to end.” Parents have described the tours as the highlight of their trip to Salem. We are happy to show you around. Salem is a historic seaport on Massachusetts' North Shore, known for the 1692 witch trials, its maritime past and the Peabody Essex Museum.
Salem is a seaport on the north shore of Massachusetts, about twenty-five kilometres north-east of Boston. In 1692 it became infamous for the witch trials, in which twenty people were executed after accusations of witchcraft, and the Witch House, the home of a judge, and the Witch Trials Memorial recall the events. The Witch Museum and the Peabody Essex Museum are among its main museums.
