Your driver guide will stop at the circus maximus where you can take amazing pictures. The Circus was Rome's largest venue for ludi, public games connected to Roman religious festivals. Ludi were sponsored by leading Romans or the Roman state for the benefit of the Roman people (populus Romanus) and gods. Most were held annually or at annual intervals on the Roman calendar.
You'll take a lot of pictures from the circus maximus. Imperial palaces were built there, starting with Augustus. Before imperial times the hill was mostly occupied by the houses of the rich.
Your driver will introduce you to your private Tour guide to visit the Colosseum. Ticket type: individual ticket first and second level, no groups entrance, no attico, no undergrounds.
The Oldest road in the built by the Romans more than 2000 years ago. The Appian Way was a Roman road which the republic used as a main route for military supplies for its conquest of southern Italy in 312 BC and for improvements in communication.
From the port of civitavecchia we'll show you the trevi fountain and the spanish steps instead of the catacombs but you are free to decide on the day of the tour what to see. If your tour starts from Rome city center if you don't want to see the catacombs, we'll show you the Roman squares. This can be customised on the day of the tour with your personal driver guide. The catacombs are among the greatest and most important of Rome. They originated about the middle of the second century and are part of a cemeterial complex which occupies an area of 90 acres, with a network of galleries about 12 miles long, in four levels, more than twenty meters deep. In it were buried tens of martyrs, 16 popes and very many Christians.
You will stop for a quick snack suggested by our driver during the tour, gelato or a slice of pizza for about 30 minutes if you want.

About Roma
Top-ranked sights in Roma: Colosseum, Vatican Museums, Sistine Chapel.
