Travel into the protected waters of Resurrection Bay in search of gray whale on their annual migration through Alaskan waters on this 4-hour excursion. Gray whales migrate over 5,000 miles from Baja to the Bering and Chukchi Seas each year in search of food. They begin their migration north in late February and travel through Alaskan waters in the spring. 5Great experience!!
Had a great time seeing all the wildlife! Got to see a whale mother and calf, sea lions, as well as many other animals!
5The weather was horrible...
The weather was horrible but everyone made the best of it & enjoyed. Lots of wildlife spotted, we saw numerous kinds of birds, killer whales then humpback whales, sea lions, starfish, seals, mountain goats & otters! The captain was entertaining and knowledgeable, the crew were all professional and friendly. Thanks for a Great (wet) day!!
5Beautiful and fun
Great crew and narrator. Saw a lot of wildlife and beautiful scenery.
5Wonderful Views of Sea Life
Even though the weather was less than ideal, this was an amazing adventure. We saw humpback whales, puffins, bald eagles, a mountain goat, sea lions, harbor seals, and a sea otter. Would not hesitate to do this adventure again!
5Super fun wildlife cruise!!
We had a great tour, seeing sea otters, harbor seals, humpbacks, sea lions, puffins, and even a human on a remote island! The crew was incredibly kind and solicitous of us, concerned about us becoming seasick. Highly recommend!!!
5This was an amazing...
This was an amazing experience despite the wind, rain, and freezing temperature. We saw whales, seals, otters, dolphins, mountain goats, bald eagles, various sea birds (didn’t see any puffins, was told those are elusive). The shoreline, cliffs, and coves were breathtaking. Binoculars were available for borrow (while supplies last). Gloves and hats are must in Spring.

About Seward
Seward is a small harbour town at the head of Resurrection Bay in Alaska, the gateway to Kenai Fjords National Park with its glaciers and sea life.
Seward sits at the head of Resurrection Bay on the Alaskan Kenai Peninsula, backed by steep mountains. It was founded in 1903 as the starting point of a railroad into Alaska's interior and named for William Seward, the US Secretary of State who arranged the purchase of Alaska. The harbour is a base for fishing boats and sightseeing cruises, and a trail runs along the waterfront. The Seward Highway to Anchorage winds through mountains and beside Turnagain Arm.
