1. Il nostro grande tour verso la montagna di colori in ATV inizia con il pick up dei turisti nei rispettivi hotel. Ci prepariamo a viaggiare nel nostro trasporto turistico per 2.40 ore circa fino alla città di Japura (4200mts slm), arrivando in questo luogo circa alle 6 : 20 del mattino, dove ci aspetta la nostra deliziosa colazione a buffet.

2. Dopo colazione la nostra Guida darà le istruzioni necessarie per iniziare la grande avventura in ATVS viaggiando a Gosqopata per un tempo medio di 1 ora e poi camminare per 35 minuti, una distanza di 1,5 chilometri per raggiungere il punto panoramico dell'impressionante Montagna dei 7 Colori (5038mts sul livello del mare). Nella Montagna dei Colori avremo abbastanza tempo per scattare le foto migliori perché siamo i primi a raggiungerla. Saremo lì senza l'agglomerato di turisti un momento perfetto per scattare foto, girare video e godersi la bellezza dei colori. Dopo la visita, torniamo per 25 minuti al luogo in cui lasciamo gli ATV e poi ognuno prende i nostri ATV e torna alla città di Japura dove il nostro delizioso ci aspetta per il pranzo. Dopo pranzo ritorno a Cusco arrivando alle 15:30 medie, finiamo il tour negli hotel corrispondenti.

• 1Great views and fun ride, however the tour company falsely advertised the inclusion's.

  The company advertised an English-speaking tour guide, which the company did not provide. The ATV ride and the scenery were amazing, but as English-speaking tourists, we did not have any information provided to us about the area and views, glaciers, etc. The company would not answer our immediate questions about providing an English-speaking tour guide, and were extremely unhelpful at remedying any refund compensation at the end. The tour guide was very friendly, but incapable of communicating with us, other than through limited conversation on our phones and help from other tourists. The tour advertisement did not provide us with the age range limitation for driving the ATVs as spelled out in the disclaimer we had to sign.

• 5Take the 8.30 option

  Great experience we were very fortunate with the weather and scenery is amazing. Taking the 830 am option meant we missed all other groups and were the only people on the mountain. Guide was excellent and very helpful. I certainly recommend the ATV option as it’s just a short walk to mountain and it was a fun experience driving them.

  What an amazing day. Camila our tour guide was very helpful and knowledgeable about the history of Peru. She was very personal as well. Freddy the driver was very patient with us and drove the van in a very safe manner. Great team work.

• 3Terrible Pickup Process, Needs Improvement

  Rainbow Mountain itself is absolutely beautiful, and we did enjoy the ATV portion of the tour. My main issue was with how unorganized and unprofessional the pickup process felt. Our pickup address had been confirmed the night before, but no one arrived during the scheduled window. We were then told to take a taxi at our own expense to another pickup point. What really bothered me was that only about 15 minutes after telling us to take a taxi, the driver was already rushing us and questioning why we were not there yet. We had to wait for the taxi to arrive, and while we were on the way, the pickup location changed again. At that point, it felt unfair and very unprofessional. You cannot tell guests at the last minute to arrange their own transportation, then rush them and change the meeting point again while they are already trying to get there. Because of all of this, the beginning of the tour was stressful, and our time at Rainbow Mountain also felt very rushed, which was disappointing since that was the main reason we booked the experience.

• 5quad and hike

  Great fun taking the quad most of the way to Rainbow mountain then a steep but short hike to the top. The view is amazing. Go early to avoid the crowds!

• 5Rainbow Mt ATV Day Trip

  We had the best day on this tour! We were picked up from our hotel in Cusco at 6:30 am and traveled by van to the Rainbow Mt car park. On the trip to and from Cusco, we stopped at a great restaurant and were served breakfast and lunch. Once we arrived at the car park, we drove ATVs about 35ish minutes up the mountains. The views were absolutely incredible! You leave your ATV and hike the short hike to the vista point. We took pictures with ‘sexy’ llamas and alpacas—our guide joked that they were called that because of their cute sunglasses. You can also pay 5 sols to take pictures standing on the hands with great views of the mountains. I would definitely recommend to anyone who is interested!
