Meet in Hiroshima at an agreed location such as Hiroshima Station or your hotel. Travel together to Miyajima by local train and ferry, or another suitable option depending on the day.
Walk along the shoreline to view the iconic floating torii gate of Itsukushima. Timing may vary depending on the tide.
Visit Itsukushima Shrine, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and learn about its history, architecture, and cultural significance.
Short break at a café near the shrine or hillside area for refreshments before continuing the walk.
Visit Daishoin Temple, an important Buddhist complex on the slopes of Mount Misen, known for its halls, statues, and temple paths.

About Hiroshima
Hiroshima, on Japan's Seto Inland Sea, is a rebuilt river city whose Peace Memorial Park and museum recall the atomic bombing of 1945.
Hiroshima spreads across the delta of the Ōta River, whose channels, bridges and trams give the city an open feel. The atomic bomb of 6 August 1945 destroyed most of it. The Peace Memorial Park beside the river holds the Atomic Bomb Dome, a ruined building left standing and listed by UNESCO, the Peace Memorial Museum and the Children's Peace Monument.
