Guided by Surf Sanctuary founder Dom Moore, this private experience is built on decades exploring Cornwall's coastline. Surfing since 1997 and teaching ocean sports professionally since 2003, Dom combines a First Class Natural Sciences degree with RLSS lifeguard and RYA VHF qualifications, bringing scientific understanding, fieldcraft and professional judgement to every session. Rather than returning to the same location each day, every trip is tuned to recent, current and forecast wind, swell, tide and underwater visibility, selecting the venue offering the best combination of safety and hunting conditions. Learn fish behavior, ethical harvesting, hunting strategy, shot placement and, if successful, how to humanely dispatch and prepare your catch.

Newquay sits on Cornwall's north coast, where Atlantic swell rolls onto a string of sandy beaches. Fistral Beach, facing west, is the town's famous surf beach, and Towan, Great Western and Lusty Glaze are smaller coves between the headlands. The harbour holds fishing boats and the Huer's Hut, a whitewashed lookout from which watchers once signalled the arrival of pilchard shoals.
