1. Already leaving Arequipa bound for Chivay, we will make a trip of approximately 3 hours, crossing the entire protected area of the national reserve of salinas and aguada blanca.

Mirador Antahuilque - Antahuilque (3400), will give us a wonderful view towards the beginning of the COLCA CANYON, we will be able to appreciate the rocky formation of said canyon, we will clearly notice the difference between the valley and the canyon and we will taste the Sancayo. About Arequipa

Arequipa, in southern Peru, is a white-stone colonial city beneath the cone of El Misti volcano, close to the deep Colca Canyon.

Arequipa lies at about 2,300 metres in the dry southern Andes, with the cone of El Misti volcano rising above it and Chachani and Pichu Pichu on either side. Its centre is built from sillar, a light volcanic stone that has earned it the name of the White City. The Plaza de Armas has arcades, palms and the cathedral, whose façade stretches the full length of one side.
