3. A long stairway flanked by two golden colored Naga snakes leads to the Buddha image, that was constructed in 1977. The enormous golden colored Buddha image is around 18 meters high and is officially named Phra Buddha Sukhothai Walai Chonlathan, and is also known as Luang Pho Yai.

4. Bali Hai Pier – commonly known as Pattaya Pier – is a central feature of the city, located at the end of Walking Street, near the southernmost point of Pattaya Bay. It is a hive of activity, with endless day-trippers on the way to the nearby Coral Island (Koh Larn), as well as scuba divers, fishing enthusiasts and even private charter boat trips setting off or returning to dry land.

There are five zones within the museum: Aqua and Safari, Classic Art, Fantasy, Nature and Modern Art. Float down Venetian canals, venture through the jungle, roam ancient temples and escape a shark attack! The gallery is fully interactive, so you can touch, climb, pose and take photos with all the paintings.

About Pattaya

Pattaya is a Thai beach resort south-east of Bangkok, with a long bay, offshore islands, temples, gardens and a neon nightlife strip.

Pattaya grew from a fishing village into one of Thailand's largest beach resorts, spread along a curving bay with a promenade and a pier. The beach is busy, jet-skis and boats cross the water, and the evening brings crowds to Walking Street, a neon-lit strip of bars, restaurants and live music. Jomtien Beach, a few kilometres south, is calmer.
