Your guide guide will walk through Romania's most beautiful castle build almost 150 years ago by Romania's first German King Carol I. Used as summer residence by the Royal family for more then 50 years , it still keeps intact the original interior decoration such as four statues before the King's reception room representing the four seasons , kings' and queens' apartments , kings' office , the Imperial apartment , the music hall , cinema room , the biggest collection of weapons in Romania ( some of them unique ) and much more.

About Sinaia
Sinaia is a mountain resort in the Prahova valley, below the Bucegi mountains, famous for Peleș Castle and its cable car up to the high plateau.
Sinaia takes its name from a monastery founded in the 1690s and named after Mount Sinai, and it grew into a royal summer resort in the nineteenth century. Peleș Castle, built in the 1870s and 1880s as the summer home of King Carol I, is a Neo-Renaissance palace with carved wooden interiors in a wooded valley above the town. The smaller Pelișor Castle stands nearby, and the early twentieth-century Casino overlooks a park in the centre.
