Cocoa Beach is a surf town on Florida's Space Coast, a barrier-island strip between the Atlantic and the Banana River, close to Kennedy Space Center.

Its long beach is among the best surf breaks on the east coast, and the Cocoa Beach Pier reaches out over the waves. The surfer Kelly Slater, an eleven-time world champion, grew up here.
