  It was better than some aquariums we’ve visited. My sister and I have been to several all over the country. The fish were unique but it seemed that some of the exhibits were mislabeled.

  It was the best part of Coney Island. I spent most of my day there because there are a lot of experiences offered for the admission price. I highly recommend. The staff were friendly and helpful.

  So worth it for all ages honestly my husband had a great time and so did my 16 year old. Take your time enjoy it

• 5An amazing and overlooked venue

  This historic venue is definitely a site to be seen. I’ve been in New York City throughout my life, but somehow missed this venue. The staff was exceptional. We had two disabled individuals with us, and the staff made every accommodation to ensure an enjoyable visit. The final 4D video was very entertaining.

• 4A little underwhelming

  Fun experience, but a little underwhelming for the price. Definitely look at the map before you go and don’t plan to spend more then 2 hours there.

• 5A really nice place to relax and stay cool and great shark watching

  I visited the NY Aquarium after watching the Hot Dog Eating Contest and needed a place to cool off. I was able to just relax in the Shark Room and watch the fish swim by. It was so relaxing walking through the Shark display and watch the mammals do their thing. I got to see the penguins and the otters outside but it was so hot outside, 97 degrees, that I could not stay long outside. The park was closing most of the displays. Inside though, the tropical fish and Oceans of the Deep were cool, relaxing and engaging. It was a nice way to end the day in Coney Island.
