In evidenza

As the light from the moon and stars shimmers on the fresh snow, we will set off through the fresh powder, weaving uour way through an old-growth forest of mountain hemlock and sub-alpine fir. Throughout the adventure, your naturalist guide will highlight animal tracks, enliven you with age old stories of the constellations above, and more! Snowshoeing is truly the best way to observe nature in the winter! Traveling on snowshoes, you will be able to get a glimpse of how the native wildlife in Central Oregon have adapted to the deep snow, perhaps stumbling upon the tracks of a fox or pine marten. We will also take a quick rest to enjoy hot cocoa amidst the snow & stars. Your Snowshoe tours are great fun for the whole family! About Bend

Bend is a high-desert city in central Oregon on the Deschutes River, in the lee of the Cascade Range, with skiing, volcanoes and breweries.

Bend sits at about 1,100 metres on the Deschutes River, on the dry eastern side of the Cascade Range in central Oregon, with a line of snowy volcanoes along the western horizon, the Three Sisters among them. The river runs through town, widening at Mirror Pond beside Drake Park, and the old mill district beside it has been turned into shops, paths and places to float. Pilot Butte, a small cinder cone inside the city, can be climbed for views of the peaks.

Top-ranked sights in Bend: Bend Old Mill District, Newberry National Volcanic Monument, Deschutes National Forest.
