5First surfing experience at 49
Really great morning having my first surfing lesson at the age of 49. Arthur was great as the coach and I learned a lot and loved the experience. I would highly recommend
5Perfect Introduction to Surfing
We booked two private 2-hour lessons with Margaret River Surf School for our daughter, who had never surfed before, and it was a fantastic experience. The first lesson at Redgate Beach was a great introduction and gave her the confidence to get started. The second lesson at Huzzas was brilliant and really helped build on what she'd learned. Jarrad was awesome. He was patient, encouraging and made the whole experience fun. You could tell he genuinely enjoys teaching and was just as excited as our daughter when she started catching waves. By the end of the two lessons her confidence had grown massively, and she's now hooked on surfing. Thanks Jarrad and the team at Margaret River Surf School. We'd highly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to surf.
5Highly recommend
Big thanks to our instructor who was amazing with our two boys (9 and 11 years old). They had an awesome time despite having limited experience and learnt a lot. Highly recommend.
5I feel like I have gone from beginner to intermediate from just one session!
During my holiday I decided to go surfing. My instructor for the day was David. He was very kind and friendly. He also gave me great feedback on my pop-up and how to catch the wave at an angle. Once I implemented his advice, I finally figured out what was holding me back from progressing. I feel much more confident catching waves now thanks to David!
5Private session surfing
Had my 2 kids doing their 1st ever session. It was amazing! Kids loved it! Their instructor Lawrence as very good with instructions and took them to their 1st stand on the board while riding the waves. TY very much for that, we had an awesome experience.
5Highly Recommend Margaret River Surf School
Our experience was wonderful. Alex and Lauren were excellent instructors. The location was amazing! We had a mix of ages, but all of us were beginners and they made all of us get the right amount of attention to have the best time. Special credit to Lauren for the time she spent with my 7 year old nephew. He had a blast! Thank You!

Margaret River is a wine and surf region in Western Australia's far south-west, set among tall forests, limestone caves and Indian Ocean beaches.
Margaret River is both a small town and a wine region in the far south-west of Western Australia, running along a ridge between Cape Naturaliste in the north and Cape Leeuwin in the south.
