4Very informative
Alex was very informative and made the walk interesting. We learned a lot of history and cultural insights. However, the meeting point given on the booking details was a 27 min walk uphill in the wrong direction. Best to verbally verify the meeting place.
5Learning Kutaisi
I really enjoyed the tour. Alex our guide explained a lot of things about the history of the city and the country. I recommend it!
5Recommandable
Very informative and wellspoken English thanks to our guide! We recommand this tour to everyone. Kutaisi is a beautiful city.
1Very poor service both from tour operator & TripAdvisor
Despite receiving an email confirmation, no one showed up for the tour. There was also no notification of a cancellation. I am very disappointed with this experience. To make matters worse, the refund is expected to take a week, which reflects poorly on TripAdvisor's service.
4Great tour with good...
Great tour with good information about the history of Kutaisi and Georgia. Good way of seeing the city and learning at the same time.
5Definitely worthwhile!
Great way of finding out more about Kutaisi, and a super knowledgeable guide! Definitely recommended.

About Kutaisi
Kutaisi is one of Georgia's oldest cities, a former royal capital on the Rioni River with a ruined cathedral, hillside monasteries and a covered market.
Kutaisi, the main city of Imereti in western Georgia, was once the capital of the kingdom of Western Georgia and is linked by legend with Aia, the land of Jason and the Golden Fleece. The Rioni River runs through the centre, and the Colchis Fountain, with gilded animals, stands on one of its squares. The Bagrati Cathedral, an eleventh-century church on a hilltop, was ruined by the Ottomans in 1692 and rebuilt in modern times.
