5Gold mine tour 10/10
This is a family-owned tour, and everyone is nice. They explain really well about the Alaskan gold rush. We enjoyed it so much
5Interesting historical tour with fun gold panning
Very enjoyable experience the mine was spacious but still pretty spooky and all of the tour guides and staff were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Wish the gold panning part lasted a bit longer of course but it was still very fun and left with some gold flakes to take home. Great experience would recommend and would do again.

5Underground mine tour
Our guide for this tour had worked in the mines for over 35 years. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in helping to make sure everyone was safe and able to see everything. Panning for gold was fun and there were people there to help out!

About Juneau
Juneau is Alaska's capital, a small harbour city beneath steep forested mountains, reachable only by air or sea and close to glaciers.
Juneau sits on the Gastineau Channel in the Alaska Panhandle, squeezed between the water and the steep slopes of Mount Juneau and Mount Roberts, with the Juneau Icefield behind. No road connects it to the rest of North America. The city grew after gold was found in 1880, and the Alaska State Capitol, a columned building of the 1930s, the octagonal Russian Orthodox church of St Nicholas and the old downtown streets recall that past.
