Visit the heart of the city, one of the most magnificent public squares in the world, surrounded by some of Venice’s most significant buildings: St Mark's Basilica, the Campanile (bell tower), the Doges Palace, which was once the administrative centre of the city.
Rialto Bridge is one of the architectural icons of Venice and one of the most visited tourist attractions of the city. It is a stone arch bridge over the Grand Canal and is the oldest bridge in Venice.

Hidden in the center of Venice, unknown to most tourists, is a spiraling “snail” staircase that winds up the tower-like facade of a historic palazzo. It was so unique at the time it was built at the very end of the 15th century that it’s responsible for naming both the palace it’s attached to and the entire branch of the Contarini noble family that lived there.
