4. Our journey continues towards Cammarata, but first we will stop at Santo Stefano Quisquina. We will take a short walk in the woods, close to the Monte Cammarata nature reserve, to reach the Hermitage of Santa Rosalia alla Quisquina, a place of great spirituality and beauty, immersed in nature. Especially in the summer months, the hermitage opens all its internal rooms, even the cells, offering a unique experience. In the winter months, however, the charm of the exteriors does not lack, equally offering an unforgettable experience.

About Agrigento

Agrigento is a hilltop city on Sicily's south coast, best known for the Valley of the Temples, a ridge of Greek temples standing above the sea.

Agrigento looks out to the Mediterranean from a hill on Sicily's southern coast. Greek colonists founded it around 580 BC as Akragas, and the poet Pindar called it the fairest city of mortals. The Valley of the Temples, a World Heritage site just below the modern town, is a ridge of Doric temples from the fifth century BC; the best preserved is the Temple of Concordia, saved because it was later turned into a church.
