You're looking for a classic desert experience from Erfoud to Merzouga, including a camel ride, sunset, dinner, and Berber music, all within a 6-hour timeframe. Will pick you up from your hotel in Erfoud, in a 4x4 vehicle. The drive from Erfoud to Merzouga takes approximately 1 hour. Stop in the way for a quick visit of a nomad family which lives in Thier original tent in desert. Upon arrival near the dunes, you will ride the camels usually lasts about an hour. You'll have time to enjoy the breathtaking sunset over the vast sand dunes and take photos. After sunset, you'll head to a desert camp. Here, you'll enjoy a traditional Berber dinner. We will email you after your reservation about the pickup time from your hotel. The trip will be by 4WD to Merzouga Desert, in your way you will stop at the nomads family for a quick visit, when you arrive to Merzouga dunes you will change the car to the camels for sunset around one hour ride, you will get to the camp where you will enjoy the quietness of the desert, then sunset over sand dunes, then tasty berber dinner then berber music with campfire with drums. About Merzouga
Merzouga is a village at the edge of the Erg Chebbi dunes in Morocco's Sahara, where camel treks and desert camps head out among tall golden dunes.
Merzouga lies in the south-east of Morocco, not far from the Algerian border, at the edge of Erg Chebbi, a sea of orange dunes that rise as high as about 150 metres. The village is a scatter of flat-roofed mud-brick and concrete houses, with guesthouses and kasbah-style hotels set along the dune edge. The surrounding landscape is stony desert, scattered with oases and dry riverbeds.
