Enjoy the sounds of the paddle steamers, the birds chirping and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Echuca Reserve Park. A very easy and comfortable ride. This is a “don’t miss” experience to include in your visit to Echuca or Moama. Tours depart from Murray Esplanade between the Echuca Wharf and the Discovery Centre.

This 90 minute Scenic Cycling Tour takes in the legendary historic Port of Echuca and the picturesque Scenic Drive which meanders along both the Murray and Campaspe Rivers with nature and wildlife at 360 degrees.
Moama Beach is one of the region’s most beloved natural attractions, offering a peaceful riverside setting along the iconic Murray River. Just a short distance from central Echuca–Moama, this sandy stretch of riverbank is a great photo spot, with background views of the iconic original Echuca Moama bridge. Also great views of the Echuca Wharf.
Horseshoe Lagoon is a tranquil natural retreat in Moama, offering visitors a quiet and scenic alternative to the main Murray River. Formed from an old river bend, this horseshoe-shaped lagoon is surrounded by native bushland and towering river red gums, creating a serene environment perfect for relaxation and nature appreciation.
Originally an important timber and transport hub during the 19th-century river trade era, the wharf has been carefully restored to preserve its historic character. Today, visitors can stroll along the wooden jetty, enjoy panoramic river views, or watch paddlesteamers glide past—bringing the past to life.

About Echuca
Echuca is a Murray River town in northern Victoria, a former inland port where paddle steamers and a red gum wharf recall the riverboat age.
Echuca sits at the meeting of the Murray, Campaspe and Goulburn rivers on the border with New South Wales, facing the town of Moama across the water. In the late nineteenth century it was one of the busiest inland ports in the country, where paddle steamers and barges loaded wool and timber, and its long red gum wharf, built on three levels to cope with changing river heights, survives.
