Taroudant, located between the sea and the mountains, with a breathtaking view of the Atlas and the Anti-Atlas, looks like what Marrakech was like 20 years ago. It is also nicknamed “La Petite Marrakech”. Located 81 km east of Agadir, Taroudant, a medieval city in the heart of a fertile valley, is renowned for its craftsmanship in leather, wrought iron and Berber silver jewellery. The "little Marrakech" offers you the opportunity to discover the mountainous trails of the hinterland, the palmerais including those of Tiout, a Berber village at the foot of the Anti-Atlas 30 km from Taroudant. You will be dazzled by a panoramic view that is both green and desert. Nothing better than a donkey ride to fill up with fresh air in the palm grove.
