What it is: A series of tall, narrow, finger-shaped rock pillars rising dramatically from the valley floor. Locally called “Doigts de Singe” (Monkey Fingers) because their shape resembles a monkey’s hand reaching up. Why it’s special: These unique geological formations are a photographer’s dream and one of the most iconic landmarks in Dades Valley. They showcase the natural erosion and rugged beauty of the Atlas Mountains. Visitor experience: Walk among the pillars, explore hidden paths, and enjoy panoramic views of the surrounding valley. Perfect for nature lovers, adventure seekers, and anyone who enjoys breathtaking landscapes.
Discover the traditional nomadic lifestyle of the Dades Valley, raising goats and sheep in the mountains. Learn about their daily routines, seasonal movements, and authentic Amazigh traditions passed down through generations.
