On this relaxing sightseeing tour we’ll start with a visit to Aphrodite’s Rock, the fabled birthplace of the Greek goddess of beauty. Our path then takes us to the Kourion archaeological site. Visit the Roman baths and amble through the site’s centrepiece, the Greco-Roman theatre where concerts are still being held to this day. Moving onwards, we visit Kolossi Castle, a former Crusaders' stronghold. It was built in the 12th century and is historically known for the production of Richard the Lionheart’s favourite wine, Commandaria. We’ll journey on to the mountain-wrapped stone village of Omodos and enjoy a guided walk along the narrow cobbled streets before a visit to the majestic monastery of the Holy Cross, one of the oldest monasteries on the island. We cap off the day in style with a tour of a local winery where delectable wines will be uncorked for you to sample.

Drive to Aphrodite's rock for a photo stop. Aphrodite's Rock, also known as Petra tou Romiou, is a beautiful sea stack located along the southwest coast of Cyprus, near the town of Paphos. According to Greek mythology, this is the birthplace of the goddess Aphrodite, hence its name.
Visit the archaeological site of Kourion, enjoy a captivating journey through ancient history on the island of Cyprus.

About Paphos
Paphos is a harbour town on Cyprus's south-west coast, with Roman mosaics, ancient tombs, a seafront fort and the legendary birthplace of Aphrodite nearby.
Paphos is split between the harbourside Kato Paphos, where most of the ancient sites lie, and the hillside town of Ktima above it. Kato Paphos is a World Heritage site, with the floor mosaics of Roman villas such as the House of Dionysos, the ruins of an odeon and a small fort at the harbour mouth. Nearby, the Tombs of the Kings are rock-cut burial chambers dating from the 4th century BC.
