Discover the palace's foundations at the moat, then wander among the collection of Classical Greek statues to find the mysterious Venus de Milo and the triumphant Winged Victory of Samothrace. Marvel at the stunningly sculpted Cupid & Psyche and Michelangelo's Slaves, and get drawn into a pivotal moment in French history as you gaze upon Delacroix's Liberty Leading the People. Study the masterpieces of Caravaggio, Raphael, and da Vinci, and admire the Romantic finesse of Géricault's The Raft of the Medusa. To finish, your guide leads you to the Salle des États, sharing the story and context of the Mona Lisa just outside the room.
