  3. We will pass es Coll Baix beach, this little secluded beach is beautiful and actually very dificult to access by foot or car, take the views in while you can! We will then cruise across Pollensa Bay, passing one of the highlights of the excursion, the Cape of Formentor. There, the views are amazing: the cliffs, the limestone and the famous Formentor Lighthouse.

  4. As we sail by the Cape of Formentor enjoy the spectacular views of the famous Formentor lighthouse. The Faro de Formentor lighthouse was inaugurated in 1863, at that point the only access is from the sea or via a long goat track. Nowadays, the road leading to this wonderful lighthouse is one of the most famous roads on the island! The 13.5 km road from the port of Pollensa to the Cape of Formentor was built by the Italian engineer Antonio Parietti in 1925.

About Mallorca

Mallorca is the largest of Spain's Balearic Islands, with a Gothic cathedral in Palma, a rugged north-west mountain range and coves of clear water.

Mallorca lies in the western Mediterranean, an island of limestone mountains, almond and olive groves and a long, indented coast. Palma, the capital, is dominated by La Seu, a Gothic cathedral that rises over the bay, and by the Almudaina Palace beside it; the circular Bellver Castle looks down from a forested hill. The old town has quiet courtyards, boutiques and tapas bars.

Top-ranked sights in Mallorca: Palma Cathedral (La Seu), Sóller , Royal Palace of La Almudaina (Palau de l’Almudaina).
