An amazing, full-day experience on the Arkansas River never seems long enough. Beginning in Canon City, Colorado, this Class II-III introductory whitewater trip is great for first timers and families wanting an exhilarating day of rafting in Colorado. Enjoy beautiful vistas set against the majestic Sangre De Cristo Mountain range, with varied rapids like Maytag, Five Points, Spike Buck, and Double Dip sure to leave a lasting and memorable impression. The canyon has abundant wildlife in their natural habitat, so there are plenty of viewing opportunities between the rapids, along the river's meandering banks. There are 18 miles of unforgettable whitewater to traverse. This full-day adventure includes a fresh, gourmet, deli-style lunch and plenty of opportunities to stop and swim along the way. Bring swimwear and/or synthetic, quick-dry layers, snug-fitting shoes or sandals with a heal strap, sunscreen, and sunglasses.

5The only way to see the Gorge with a great experience thrown in.
We had a great time Kelly and the team made this a fun day, nice lunch provided with the full day experience. Told us about some of the history to the Gorge and the river. It is the best way to see the Gorge. Been on a few rafting trips in Europe and the team at Lost Paddle do it best.

5A Fun, Family Adventure
We had the most amazing time! Water levels were too low for the full day Big Horn Sheep trip, but they accommodated to make sure we got the most of our full day experience, and it did not disappoint! Lunch was incredible and our guide, Charlie, was excellent!

We went on our family reunion week. Spur of the moment kind of thing. Our guide Lawrence was absolutely amazing. Very insightful as well as made it memorable for us! He made the trip itself well worth it. If I’m ever back in the springs and want something to do I know I will ask for him.
5Great company, perfect experience
We just took our first rafting experience ever and absolutely loved it. Kaile was a fun knowledge guide. The equipment and neoprene suits were perfect. Lunch was great with fresh fruit. This was a more personal experience than some of the larger companies and we will be telling everyone we know to use this company.
5Great first rafting trip.
It's was pur first timevrafting. The team made sure our group got in one boat. They c spent time answering our questions and giving us advice. Safety was well covered and friendly reminders when need. Steve our guide was great. If they tell you to get a wet siut, do it. Great family run business.

About Cañon City
