Itinerario
Start your adventure at dawn, in the field close to the Motocross in front of the Hospital General (Segovia). If you are transferring from Madrid, you'll actually start 2-hours before dawn to allow plenty of time to arrive at the field. There, you and up to 10 other passengers will prepare to soar the skies in style. The total excursion time will be about 4-hours, including balloon inflation, take-off, flight, landing and a special ceremony afterwards. You'll soar over Segovia and its surrounding areas up to 1000 meters above the ground. Throughout the flight, the chase crew is in direct contact with the pilot and follows the balloon until it lands. Once you land, it's time for a celebration. You're invited to a traditional champagne toast to celebrate this unforgettable event, and then are given a certificate, breakfast and travel back to the launch field.

5Thinking About It? Just do it!
Proactive service regarding pickup time from Madrid to Segovia. Clean comfortable transport. The whole balloon ride experience was amazing. Segovia is stunning. The staff were all good fun and friendly. Loved the cava and snacks once we had landed before being brought back to Madrid. I highly recommend to anyone.

Arrived early as the sun was raising so I could watch them setting up the hot air balloon. we got in the basket and had our safety briefing. We were soon rising over Segovia what a experience floating it went to quick and were soon back on the ground having our glass of champagne.

<p>Our balloon ride experience with Laureano was wonderful. We were picked up in Madrid and we truly felt like part of the family for the day. Laureano was very passionate and knowledgeable and wanted to be sure everyone had a great time. The energy of the trip was incredible. Be sure to confirm the details of your trip with whichever company is taking you. The Viator website promises 2 hours of sightseeing in Segovia after the balloon ride, but the company who we worked with was not aware of this. Luckily, they were incredibly nice and gave us a short 1 hour tour of the city after landing. The only disappointment was that we felt rushed through the city of Segovia and would have loved to spend more time there.</p>

About Segovia
Segovia is a hilltop city in Castile with a Roman aqueduct, a turreted Alcázar, a Gothic cathedral and a UNESCO-listed old town.
Segovia stands on a rocky ridge above two rivers, about 1,000 metres high on the Castilian plateau, and its old town is listed by UNESCO along with the Roman aqueduct. The aqueduct, built in the first century AD, strides through the town on more than 160 granite arches, held together without mortar. At the ridge's western tip, the Alcázar rises like a ship's prow with slate-roofed turrets, and the cathedral, among the last great Gothic churches built in Spain, anchors the Plaza Mayor.
