Itinerario
First, we will drive to Aconcagua National Park, near the Chilean border, in private transport, enjoying the mountain views and small villages of the central Andes on the way. We will stop briefly at Puente del Inca, a remarkable 70-ft-long natural rock bridge that crosses the Cuevas River and from which drip ribbons of bright yellow rock created by local sulfur deposits. When we arrive at the National Park we will be on the same path as the Mountaineers, as we hike in towards the spectacular sight of Aconcagua.

About Mendoza
Mendoza is a wine city of tree-lined avenues and irrigation channels on a dry plain, with the high Andes rising to the west.
Mendoza was largely rebuilt after the earthquake of 1861, which is why its streets are wide and its squares open. Plane trees shade the pavements, watered by old irrigation channels called acequias. Plaza Independencia sits at the centre with four smaller squares around it, and the great Parque General San Martín climbs to the Cerro de la Gloria, a monument with a view over the city.
Top-ranked sights in Mendoza: Puente del Inca (Inca Bridge), Uspallata, Aconcagua Provincial Park.
