Outdoors, they display a fabulous array of rural farm equipment, used by turf cutters and farmers of the time period. In the village, you will also see the once almost extinct ‘Kerry Bog Pony’ and the world’s tallest dogs the ‘Irish Wolfhound’.

Allied with these facts as you stand at the summit of this mystical place and breath in the freshest of air, deep in to your lungs from the wild Atlantic and observe this natural wonder. About Killarney

Killarney is a small County Kerry town beside a national park of lakes, mountains and old woodland, and the usual start of the Ring of Kerry.

Killarney National Park, on the town's doorstep, takes in three lakes and ancient oak and yew woods, with the MacGillycuddy's Reeks rising to the west, where Carrauntoohil is the highest mountain in Ireland. Muckross House is a Victorian mansion with gardens on a lake shore, Muckross Abbey is a ruined friary, Ross Castle stands on the water, and Torc Waterfall drops through the woods. The park shelters Ireland's only native herd of red deer.
