Safari three days and two nights to Kruger and Blyde Canyon Day three we once again awaken with the call of the animals as they also begin another day. We make our way out of the park, seeking out the various animals not yet spotted with a three hour game drive to Kruger gate. As we leave with perfect memories of the bush and animals we make our way up into the Small Drakensberg mountain range, where the stunning sights of God’s Window, Lisbon Falls, Bourkes Luck Potholes which is the world’s thirds largest and only growing canyon, the Blyde Canyon await us. Once we have taken the perfect set of photo’s to place in our Brag Book when we return home, we complete a perfect day with a perfect pancake from Harries Pancakes, renowned for their delicious selection of pancakes.

About Nelspruit

Nelspruit, also called Mbombela, is the Mpumalanga capital in the Lowveld, a green river city and the usual gateway to Kruger National Park.

Nelspruit is the capital of Mpumalanga province in the Lowveld of north-eastern South Africa, on the Crocodile River. The municipality has been renamed Mbombela, though many people still use the old name. Citrus orchards, mango and avocado farms, macadamia nuts and sugar cane cover the subtropical valley around it, and the Lowveld National Botanical Garden, on the river, has waterfalls, riverside forest and a collection of cycads.
