Discover two incredible Australian landscapes from Cairns, Beaches and Port Douglas. Over two days you will experience the World Heritage Daintree Rainforest, where the rainforest meets the reef and explore the Chillagoe Caves, Granite Gorge and other gems of the Australian Outback. This tour is a small personalised tour with custom-built 4WD vehicles. Your naturalist driver-guide has extensive knowledge of flora, fauna, history of the area and aboriginal culture. About Cairns & the Tropical North
Cairns is the gateway to Far North Queensland, with the Great Barrier Reef offshore, Daintree rainforest to the north and the Atherton Tablelands inland.
Cairns sits on Trinity Bay between the sea and a wall of forested ranges. The Esplanade has a public saltwater swimming lagoon and a long boardwalk beside mudflats where wading birds feed, and the Botanic Gardens hold tropical plants and a rainforest boardwalk.
