1Disappointed…….too much everything, except snorkel
1)absolute chaos at port, 10 boats doing similar tours all depart at same time, no organization, no guides, no help 2)crew would not answer calls, Viator was not helpful 3)majority of passengers only spoke French, and crew catered to them, including making jokes that only they could understand the whole day 4)snorkel gear provided was of poor quality 5)too much sea travel, not enough snorkel 6)too much time wasted at Pearl farm, vanilla farm and rum factory for sales, not enough snorkel…… 7)2 French speaking passengers were 30 minutes late, should have been left, and tour started 30 minutes late, cutting time for snorkel Would NOT do again, would NOT recommend

Outstanding tour!! Guides were prompt, conscientious, helpful, and very friendly. Snorkeling was spectacular at both sites we visited. I recommend bringing your own mask and snorkel if possible as their equipment was adequate but not all that good. I don’t tend to like tours with stops that lead to a sales pitch, but the stops at oyster farm, vanilla plantation, and rum distillery were interesting and authentic and the sales pitches tolerable. These stops also offered a glimpse into island life. This tour is most highly recommended
5Great day out with Patrick
An excellent and packed day out. Cannot praise our guide/Captain Patrick highly enough, really professional and caring and an all around nice guy. Took in the vanilla farm, the rum distillery and the pearl farm. The staff at these venues were really nice, interesting and helpful. The al fresco lunch was well organised with plenty of food. The highlight was probably the snorkelling through the coral garden. A strong current was running, but we were expertly guided and cared for by Patrick. We ended the day with a bonus swim with black tipped reef sharks.
5The perfect tour exist!
The tour was one of the best experiences, I have ever had! From vanilla plantation to rum distillery to snorkeling experiences, everything was great! We saw a manta Ray, turtle and lots of lemon sharks! I recommend Destination Lagoon to everyone!

What an adventure! The tour guide took us to all the best spots of Taha’a! It was so much fun! I had a group of sharks coming towards me and it was so magical and surreal. Highly recommend if you want the full package whilst staying at Raiatea. Stay at Raiatea if you can and take this tour. Don’t go through the hassle of staying at Taha’a.
5Full day Tahaa tour
This day trip was fantastic. We circumnavigated Taha'a on a small boat with only about 12 passengers. Our favorite part was the coral garden snorkel. Led by our guide, we drifted through the coral garden, which had crystal clear water and tons of fish. The lunch on the private motu (island) was delicious, and included local specialties with plenty of food for seconds or thirds! The timing worked well on our cruise stop in Raiatea. If you are coming in on the cruise ship or staying on Raiatea , I highly recommend this tour!
