5Nudity optional!
This was a great way to see the island. The driver and tour guide were very humorous and pointed out lots of different stops along the way. It was a great way to spend the day at several different beaches.
5Nice 1/2 day for cruise ship passengers
Follow directions to find pick up point at port-past taxis, left, and inside green fence. not hard, but it’s not where all the other transport is located. Friendly staff, clean van. You get 2 hours at each beach (we got 1.5 due to ship departure time) and a narrated drive around most of the island. Very friendly and safe. As for the locations-Orient beach is nice- there are some shops, rustic bathrooms and gorgeous view. You can walk to the nude beach if you want. Maho beach wasn’t our thing. There wasn’t any beach when we were there. The airport runway is literally right next to a small road and the rocks for the beach on the other side of the road-very close. Landing planes were cool, but jets taking off was terrible. The noise and sand blowing are dangerous. You cannot sit on the beach. Place was very crowded. There are some restaurants. Overall great excursion for our 7am-3 pm port day.
5Two beaches - both great
Great excursion. Both beaches offered something different. I would recommend.

5Customer service dissatisfaction
Upon the mishap of our group being scheduled for a day we weren’t on St. Maartens, the tour company got it straightened out, but the customer service rep who answered the phone was not accommodating at all. Just kept telling me essentially my reservation had been cancelled and payment had not been received, when I had proof of payment. Amigo tours was awesome!!

About Philipsburg
Philipsburg, capital of Dutch Sint Maarten, is a narrow town between a long sandy bay and a salt pond, with a beachfront street of shops.
Philipsburg stands on a narrow strip of land between Great Bay and the Great Salt Pond, on the Dutch side of the island of Saint Martin, which is shared with France. It was founded in 1763 and named after John Philips, a Scottish captain in Dutch service. Front Street runs along the bay, lined with shops, cafés and old wooden houses, and a boardwalk follows the sand. Wathey Square, with its courthouse of 1793, is the heart of the town.
