  • 5We had such a lovely...

We had such a lovely experience cooking and making new friends! The food was delicious and we learned a lot about Estonian culture as well as food. They were also accommodating for allergies and dietary requests.

  • 5Fantastic, authentic experience.

Three of us traveled to Copenhagen, Helsinki and Tallin. This was one of the highlights of our trip. One of us was a vegetarian. We reached out ahead of time and Reilika was amazing. She explained thoroughly how her kitchen operated, the planned menu and all the ways that she could accommodate a vegetarian diet. The facility was beautiful and centrally located. We met some other travelers and had such a great time cooking, chatting and dining with them that we ended up meeting up with them later on our trip. If I could give it six stars, I would.

  • 5Cooking fun

Relika, was a friendly and informative host and her kitchen was well organized. The menu was simple, barley quick bread, potato salad, cabbage rolls with white sauce, fried potatoes and something like an apple tart. Relika provide the ingredients and recipe, but we put the recipes together. The recipes were easy to follow, and if not full proof, easy to create a successful dish. The best part of the experience was gaining insights into Estonian culture and having fun with the other guests.

  • 5An Amazing Estonian Cooking Class

What a fantastic experience! We were able to prepare some authentic Estonian dishes with new friends, and then partake in our handiwork once done. And the host did such a nice job sharing about life, food, and more in Estonia. It just felt like we all prepared the food and then sat down to enjoy a family meal. Such a great cooking class!

  • 5Fabulous foodie activity when visiting Tallinn

We had a great time at Tore Toit - thoroughly enjoyed cooking some Estonian dishes with a lovely group of people. Reilika was a wonderful host and gave great instruction. There was also a lovely space to sit and enjoy our meal and have a good chat. We enjoyed trying some Estonian beer and rhubarb cider too. So glad we booked for this experience while in Tallinn and would recommend it highly!

  • 5Great cookery class!

It’s really great to learn about local food and culture from a local and to taste great food with like minded people. We all cooked in one kitchen, each pair had dishes to make that we would sit down and share with everyone later on. It felt like cooking a family meal together. Our tutor was very knowledgable and answered all our questions and told us about her family traditions and where to go to eat good Estonian food.

About Tallinn

Tallinn is Estonia's capital on the Baltic, a medieval walled old town of towers, spires and cobbled lanes with a modern harbour beside it.

Tallinn's old town, a World Heritage site, sits on a limestone hill above the harbour, ringed by medieval walls and towers and divided into the upper town on Toompea and the lower town of merchants. The Hanseatic trading city grew rich in the Middle Ages, and Town Hall Square has what is described as the only surviving Gothic town hall in northern Europe, with a weather vane in the shape of Old Thomas. St Olaf's Church, once among the tallest buildings in Europe, rises above the roofs.

Top-ranked sights in Tallinn: Tallinn Old Town (Vanalinn), Toompea Castle (Toompea Loss), Alexander Nevsky Cathedral.
