5Layover tour
We planned this private layover tour last minute and did not regret it. Among other things, we visited the Mercato, a traditional coffee house, the national museum and the mount Entoto. Emmanuel and Eyub tried hard to please us and accomodate our preferences.
5Amazing tour guide Emmanuel

His warm personality and great sense of humor kept everyone smiling, and he made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of throughout the tour. I’d highly recommend him to anyone looking for an enjoyable and memorable experience!
5Great tour with Emmanuel

5Excellent tour and safe for lone travellers
Super impressed with the very quick communication via WhatsApp from Yonas as soon as I booked through Viator. He answered several questions straight away and really thoroughly and made me feel confident and comfortable about the trip as a lone female traveller. My guide Emmanuel and driver Eyob were right on time at my hotel in the morning and joined me for a wonderful traditional coffee ceremony which I would highly recommend. The next stop was the National Museum which was very interesting. Emmanuel was enthusiastic and extremely knowledgable...so much so that other visitors were leaving their guides to listen to him! Eyob was an excellent driver and I really enjoyed the day.
5Emmanuel best guide

5Excellent
I had a wonderful experience touring Addis Ababa with Yonas. Even though I made a last-minute booking, he arrived on time to pick me up directly from my hotel and made everything very easy from the beginning. Yonas was extremely knowledgeable and helped me learn so much about Ethiopian history, culture, traditions, and everyday life. He customized the tour according to my interests and took me to many less-visited places that I would never have discovered on my own. One of my highlights was visiting Mount Entoto, the highest point in Addis Ababa, with its breathtaking views over the city and beautiful countryside. I also enjoyed visiting local villages, seeing everyday Ethiopian life, exploring an open local market, trying fresh juice, and experiencing a traditional Ethiopian coffee ceremony. What I appreciated most was that this did not feel like a standard tourist tour. Yonas took the time to show me the authentic side of Addis and Ethiopia and explained everything along the way. I highly recommend Yonas to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, flexible, and genuinely local guide. He made my time in Addis Ababa very special and memorable!
