About Medina
Medina is a holy city of Islam in western Saudi Arabia, an oasis of date palms built around the Prophet's Mosque.
Medina lies in the Hejaz region of western Saudi Arabia, an oasis ringed by volcanic hills and lava fields, north of Mecca.
