A Curated Journey Through Thessaloniki’s Craft Underground Most travelers see Thessaloniki through its ancient ruins and waterfront cafes. But behind unsuspected doors lies a different kind of history: The Greek Craft Beer Revolution. In a country where wine and industrial lagers have ruled for centuries, a small group of rebels is fighting to put their soul in a glass. ThessVentures isn't a walking tour; it is your "backstage pass" to the people, the passion, and the science behind the most exciting subculture in Greece. Led by a certified beer expert and local enthusiast, we strip away the "tourist" labels to show you the city’s soul, one fresh glass at a time. Who Is This For? This is for the Culturally Curious. You don't need to know the difference between a Lager and an Ale to join us. You just need to be someone who values authenticity, supports local makers, and wants to experience Thessaloniki like a local "insider."

Thessaloniki, Greece's second city, is a Byzantine and Ottoman port on the Aegean, with a waterfront tower, Roman monuments and excellent street food.
Thessaloniki was founded in 315 BC and became one of the main cities of the Roman and Byzantine worlds. The White Tower stands on the waterfront promenade, a rounded Ottoman-era tower that is now the city's emblem, and the Rotunda and the Arch of Galerius recall the Roman ruler who made the city his base. The early Christian and Byzantine churches, among them Agios Dimitrios, are listed by UNESCO.
Top-ranked sights in Thessaloniki: White Tower (Lefkos Pyrgos), Aristotelous Square, Church and Crypt of Ayios Dimitrios.
