During the journey we'll anchor at two special spots where you can jump in for a refreshing swim in crystal-clear waters. Back on board, enjoy a snack of fresh fruit, along cold beers and water. The trip finish at the same place where it started.

Itinerario
The captain of sailboat will meet you at the marina. After a brief instruction you will start the tour. The excursion continue on south of the lagoon where you will see cenotes, small islands, mangrove trees, and you will swim in beautiful clear waters. You will learn about ecosystem of the lagoon and also about history of the town from our experienced captain.

- We start the tour from the Restaurant Noru. Few steps from the center of Bacalar. After entering to the restaurant, you will continue walking and go down the stairs to the marina, where captain Costa will be waiting for you.

About Bacalar
Bacalar is a quiet lakeside town in Quintana Roo, beside a long freshwater lagoon of shifting blues known as the Lake of Seven Colours.
Bacalar sits on the western shore of a lagoon about forty kilometres long in the south of Quintana Roo, close to the border with Belize. The water, shallow over white sand and deeper in places, shades from pale turquoise to deep blue, giving the lagoon its name, the Lake of Seven Colours. The Fort of San Felipe, built in the eighteenth century to guard the lagoon from pirates, stands above the town square and holds a small museum.
