Most French Riviera visitors miss this spectacular, characteristic and perched village, with one of the most suggestive and extensive view over Monaco, Provence and Italy. We will take you to one of the oldest castles in France (11th century) where illustrious pages of Grimaldis of Monaco History was written. Let us show you Roquebrune-Village, in the footsteps of writer Romain Gary and other artists, and feel the poetry that emanates from it. Don't miss the monumental tree: the largest, most beautiful and proudest olive tree on Earth (and one of the oldest, dating back 2000 years), and a park with numerous bunkers from the Second World War. About Menton
Menton is a sunny Riviera town on the Italian border, famed for its lemons, mild winters, baroque old town and gardens that spill down to the sea.
Menton lies on the French Riviera a few minutes from Italy, sheltered by mountains that give it some of the mildest winters on the coast. The pastel old town climbs a hillside, with the baroque basilica of Saint-Michel at its heart, approached by a wide stepped square. Along the seafront the Promenade du Soleil runs past beaches and the old harbour.
