Destacados
Paris seems to have turned style into a way of life: the Ritz, Dior, Chanel, champagne, the right restaurant, a silk scarf, a white shirt, a trench coat, and the famous impression of effortless elegance. But where did this myth of Parisian chic come from, and why does it still work? On this private walking tour, we’ll explore the part of Paris where luxury seems to gather naturally: boutiques, jewellery stores, historic cafés, elegant gardens, galleries, perfume shops, chocolate boutiques, and old hotels. The route includes Palais-Royal, Rue Saint-Honoré, Opéra Garnier, Place Vendôme, Rue Cambon, the Ritz, the Tuileries Garden, Place de la Concorde, and the legendary Champs-Élysées. We’ll talk about fashion, perfume, shop windows, luxury brands, Coco Chanel, Colette, coffee culture, the Revolution, and the 19th-century renovation of Paris. * Explore Parisian chic through fashion, luxury, cafés, history, and city life * Discover how Parisian ease, elegance, and nonchalance were built

Itinerario
Our guide will meet you near Le Nemours restaurant on Place Colette, by Palais-Royal.
We’ll explore Palais-Royal, once the palace of Cardinal Richelieu, including its courtyard, garden, and galleries. This is where the tour begins to look at how elegance, power, theatricality, and urban life became part of the Parisian image.
You will see Daniel Buren’s striped columns in the Palais-Royal courtyard, count the black-and-white columns, and take photos in one of the most recognizable contemporary art settings in central Paris.
We’ll walk along Rue Saint-Honoré, one of the key luxury addresses in Paris, with perfume shops, tableware stores, chocolate boutiques, and fashion houses.
You will see Café Verlet, one of Paris’s old coffee houses, connected on this tour with coffee, traditional treats, and the wider story of cafés in French history.
You will see the Palais Garnier, one of the grand Paris landmarks connected with spectacle, elegance, and the city’s tradition of theatrical display.
We’ll visit Place Vendôme, the heart of Parisian high jewellery and one of the clearest examples of how luxury became part of the city’s public image.
You will see the legendary Chanel address at 31 Rue Cambon, connected with Coco Chanel and the idea of Parisian style that looks effortless but is carefully constructed.
You will see the Ritz Paris, where Coco Chanel lived for more than 30 years, and discuss how hotels, fashion houses, and old money shaped the myth of elegant Paris.
We’ll walk through the Tuileries Garden, a classic French garden designed by Louis XIV’s gardener. If the pace allows, this is also where we may pause to read poems, as in the original tour idea.
You will see Place de la Concorde, a grand Parisian square also connected with the execution of Louis XVI.
You will see the legendary Champs-Élysées, one of the most famous avenues in Paris and a fitting final note for a tour about Parisian style, image, and elegance.
