On the day 2, we'll walk in a lovely Tatra mountains and enjoy tasty traditional Slovak foods and drinks. We'll visit the mighty Spiss Castle and climb to the top, admire medieval Levoca town and on the way back to Bratislava a stop in Trencin city is a must. About Bratislava
Bratislava is Slovakia's capital on the Danube, a small city of a hilltop castle, a pedestrian old town, quirky statues and vineyards close by.
Bratislava lies on both banks of the Danube close to the Austrian and Hungarian borders, about an hour from Vienna. Its castle, a white four-towered building on a ridge, looks over the river and the old town below. The pedestrian old town has pastel baroque palaces, the Michael's Gate tower, and St Martin's Cathedral, where Hungarian kings were crowned from the 16th to the 19th century, when Pozsony, as it was then known, was the Hungarian capital.
