In the vast territory of the park you will see a huge number of deciduous trees of different species, as well as many species of rare plants brought from around the world. The park itself is now run by the son of the founder of the Dendropark. The Dendropark is an ideal place for lovers of eco-tourism and walks in a pure nature.
Sanahin Monastery is located in the same name village, near the administrative center of the Lori region, the city Alaverdi. The famous medieval Monastery dates back to the 10th century and since 1996 lited on the UNESCO World Heritage List. For many centuries, it served as the cultural center of this region, where was a library, academy and the famous scriptorium (the place where manuscripts were copied). Also inside the complex is the tomb of some members of the royal family of Zakaryans.
Surrounded by majestic gorges, Haghpat Monastery is located 10 km from Sanahin, in the same name village. Like the Sanahin Monastery, it was built in the 10th century by Tsar Ashot III and since 1996 was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. In the Monastery complex has been kept an ancient manuscript, the Mugni Gospel, which is now currently stored in Matenadaran. In the Monastery you will have the opportunity to explore the ancient architecture and the amazing nature around it.

Yerevan is Armenia's pink-stoned capital, a city of wide squares, café terraces and museums, with Mount Ararat standing on its southern skyline.
The city grew around Erebuni, a fortress founded in 782 BC, though most of today's centre was built in the Soviet era from the soft pink and orange tuff that earned Yerevan its nickname, the Pink City. Republic Square is the hub, framed by government buildings and museums. The Cascade, a giant stairway of terraces and sculpture, climbs a hillside, and the Matenadaran holds a famous collection of medieval manuscripts.
Top-ranked sights in Yerevan: Republic Square, Tsaghkadzor Ropeway, Matenadaran (Mesrop Mashtots Institute of Ancient Manuscripts).
