Crossing the savanna we'll arrive at the Nemocón, there, underground awaits 1,600 meters of tunnels of the first salt mine exploited in Colombia.
Have a sneak peek of how it was formed the region of Bogotá and its surroundings among fossils of mastodons, Megatheriums, plesiosaurs, and ammonites.
- Descent. The salt mine is accessed through large German doors 3 meters high, original from 1817. - Ascent. Continue to discover the secrets of this place, such as the underground chapel, the salt waterfall, the wishing pool and even a film set.
We will take a walk through the picturesque streets of this small mining town, visiting the main square of Nemocón, and we will see the architecture of a colorful and serene municipality.

About Bogotá

La Candelaria, the old quarter, lies at the foot of the eastern hills, with streets of colonial houses, galleries and murals around Plaza de Bolívar and its cathedral.
