Pink Lake (Masazir) — the most unique lake in Azerbaijan, renowned for its unusual hue. There are only eight pink lakes in the world, and one of them is right here in Azerbaijan. Note: During the winter period (from December 1 to March 31), visits to the Pink Lake Masazyr are temporarily suspended, as due to natural conditions the lake loses its characteristic pink shade. This allows more time to be spent at other key locations of the itinerary, including the Shahdag Mountain Resort, which makes the tour even more rich and comfortable. This location is unavailable till 30 april
In Khizi we will visit the mountains that are unique in their appearance. Candy Cane Mountains (also called Colored Mountains, Agate Mountains and Rainbow Mountains) are popularly called for their similarity in color to sugar candies in purple stains.

4Amazing trip
On 10 Oct 2026 we visited Shahdag & other tourist locations. Our tour guide Mr Oguz is young, highly professional, well experienced & having enough knowledge about history of the locations we visited. He has sound vocabulary of English language & we found him hardworking & exceptional tour guide. We wish best of luck to him. Regards Gopal Dass
4Fascinating trip to the mountains
Fascinating things to see. Especially the Candy Cane Mountains and Dhahdag. Excellent range of reasonably priced activities at Shahdag. I had a really superb guide the day before and this one was rather disappointing by comparison. No humour. Like a cross schoolmaster about timings and was then late himself for the last meeting of the day. It was a long day. About 13 hours and a lot of travelling
5Very nice experience

5Worth the penny 👌🏼
The tour is definitely worth the money👌🏼. They have a comfortable tour van and I was lucky enough to have the front seat alone 😁 Our tour guide Mr. Eldar is very informative and enthusiastic. You can clearly see he loves his job and is also very helpful to his guests. He speaks good english so you wont have a problem conversing with him. He makes sure to check on us and if we were enjoying the whole tour. Candy cane mountains is a must see for me. The colors are not super vibrant but its a rare beauty. Shahdag, what more can I say. you NEED to experience it, specially the coaster. They have lots of activities that you can enjoy. The only 3/5 for me was the restaurant where we had lunch at. I don't remember the name and I understand that it's in Gachrash Forest where the famous tree tunnel is located. But in my opinion the food is way overpriced. (Ill include a photo) I paid almost 50azn for the meal. Overall its a great experience and would totally recommend 💯.
Baku is Azerbaijan's capital on the Caspian Sea, where a walled medieval old town sits beside oil-era mansions and glass towers shaped like flames.
The walled Old City, Icherisheher, is a UNESCO-listed maze of lanes with the Maiden Tower and the Palace of the Shirvanshahs, both medieval. Beyond the walls, grand mansions from the oil boom of the late nineteenth century line the streets, and a long boulevard runs beside the Caspian. The three Flame Towers glow on the skyline, and Zaha Hadid's curving Heydar Aliyev Centre is a landmark of modern architecture.
Top-ranked sights in Baku: Bibi-Heybat Mosque (Bibiheybet Mescidi), Yanar Dag, Baku Old City (Icherisheher).
