This family-friendly experience invites you to discover Sayulita’s culinary roots through dishes rich in history, tradition, and authentic local flavors from long standing, family run restaurants. At our first stop, syart with a refreshing agua fresca made from fresh local fruit in Raspados y Aguas frescas Sayulita. Then, you will head to Mariscos Purillo’s, a traditional family owned spot where you’ll taste three coastal appetizers. Then, enjoy a traditional local drink before heading to El Rinconcito, known for its long standing recipes, where a homemade regional starter awaits. Continue to Emiliano’s Restaurant for two main dishes that showcase Sayulita’s culinary heritage. Next, visit Naty’s Restaurant, another local classic, for the second part of your main course, a longtime community favorite. End your tour at the iconic Chocobanana Restaurant with a homemade dessert full of sweetness and nostalgia, and raise your glass with a traditional sweet drink to finish your journey.

Sayulita is a small surf town on Mexico's Pacific coast in Nayarit, north of Puerto Vallarta, with a sandy bay, colourful streets and jungle-covered hills.

Sayulita sits on a small bay on the Riviera Nayarit, north-west of Puerto Vallarta, with green jungle hills rising behind the beach. The town grew from a fishing village into a surfing spot, and its centre is a tangle of cobbled streets hung with bunting, small shops, and a plaza with a market. Huichol bead and yarn art is sold in the shops.
