Aarhus is Denmark's second city, a harbour and university town on the east coast of Jutland, with an open-air old town, a rainbow roof and beech woods.
Aarhus lies on a wide bay on the east coast of Jutland and is Denmark's second-largest city. Its university gives it a young, lively feel, and the Latin Quarter's cobbled lanes hold cafés, independent shops and second-hand bookshops.
