For buggies / side-by-sides, the insurance fee is $100 per vehicle.

A long crescent of dark sand curves along the shore, with steady waves that have made it a surfing centre, and surf schools, cafés and small hotels line the main street. A few kilometres south, Playa Hermosa has heavier breaks that host surfing competitions.
