The six hours allocated in this section for the Glacier 3000 includes the round-trip journey by car and some time for lunch at the traditional Swiss restaurant located nearby. The drive from Geneva to Les Diablerets for the Glacier 3000 experience takes around an hour and twenty minutes.

About Geneva

Geneva is a lakeside city in French-speaking Switzerland, home to the Jet d'Eau, a hilltop Old Town, many international bodies and views of Mont Blanc.

Geneva lies at the western end of Lake Geneva, where the Rhône flows out toward France, with the Jura and the Alps on either side. The Jet d'Eau, a fountain that shoots water 140 metres into the air, marks the harbour. The Old Town climbs a hill to the Gothic Saint-Pierre Cathedral, where John Calvin preached, and the Reformation Wall in the Parc des Bastions shows its leaders in carved stone.
