Climbing up into the Cordillera Occidental (Western Andes mountains), you’ll discover amazing breathtaking views, grand fields, and mountainsides full of coffee, platano, avocados, oranges, and so much more. Looking down into the valley far below you’ll see the wonderful town of Viterbo, and up in the distance Sanctuario (gateway to the Tatama National park) and the Cerro de Tatamá, with a peak of 4,100 m (13,500 ft). Arriving in Apia you’ll enjoy its super views and a quick stop for a cup of fresh mountain coffee, before starting your journey up into the mountainside to the perfect location to launch your paragliding flight at a height of 1,880 m above sea level (6,168 ft). Photos and a short video of your flight are included in the cost of this tour! Once here you'll be introduced to your paragliding pilot who will accompany you throughout this amazing adventure. About Pereira
Pereira is a city at the heart of Colombia's coffee region, set among green Andean hills with coffee farms, hot springs and a famously unclothed Bolívar.
Pereira is the capital of Risaralda department, set among green Andean hills in the Coffee Cultural Landscape of Colombia, which UNESCO listed in 2011. The Plaza de Bolívar holds Bolívar Desnudo, a bronze statue of the liberator on horseback, famously unclothed, by the sculptor Rodrigo Arenas Betancourt. The Viaducto César Gaviria Trujillo, a cable-stayed bridge, links the city with its neighbour Dosquebradas across a deep valley.
