Experience some of England’s darkest skies on this extraordinary tour experience taking you deep into Northumberland’s Hadrian’s Wall country. Your transport awaits right in the centre of Newcastle to teleport you into the wilds of Northumberland National Park. Your journey begins right in Newcastle with mini coach pick up from Maldron Hotel and heading out into England’s most tranquil county – Northumberland! Journey in comfort to your destination within Northumberland National Park and along Hadrian's Wall. Journey time is approx. 1 hour and during this time you will have the chance to learn a little about Northumberland, our dark skies as well as Hadrian's Wall via an engaging video en-route.

Expect to see/do: - enjoy an inspirational Dark Skies presentation (inside our heated room incl. tea / coffee & biscuits) - venture outdoors to use telescope, enjoy a laser-guided tour of constellations and be inspired by the night sky within the National Park setting - take part in a photography art project (with mementos to keep and cherish)

About Newcastle-upon-Tyne
Newcastle upon Tyne is a river city in north-east England, with a Norman castle keep, a row of bridges over the Tyne and a revived quayside.
Newcastle grew around a Roman bridge crossing and takes its name from the castle begun here in 1080 by Robert Curthose, son of William the Conqueror. The stone keep still stands above the railway, beside the Black Gate. The Tyne is crossed by the Swing Bridge, the High Level Bridge and the steel arch of the Tyne Bridge, and Grainger Town has classical streets of the 1830s with Grey's Monument at their heart.
